T-Series launches a new YouTube channel for kids

Companies like T-Series are venturing into the educational field with Edutainment for kids with their new YouTube channel KIDS HUT.

With technological advancement moving at breakneck speed, keeping pace with the happenings on the digital platforms is indeed the need of the hour. With the GenNext showing the way forward, even music companies like T-Series is venturing into the educational field with Edutainment for kids with their new YouTube channel KIDS HUT.

This platform targets children in the age group of 3-9 year olds and is produced by the in-house Digital Team of T-Series with creative inputs from Tulsi Kumar. The channel that was launched on September 5, has video’s containing nursery rhymes and stories that have a moral to it.

When asked about the channel and how it is different from other channels running on the same platform, head honcho of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar said “Our USP not only lies with the quality of music and voices, but also in the way animation has been done. Everything is designed keeping in mind the international standards so that kids not only in India but outside can enjoy our content and relate with it. From nursery rhymes, stories, to riddles, the channel caters to all the educational needs of kids. Our aim is to not only make this a place of learning, but to do it in an entertaining and fun manner so that the kids do not find it tedious.”

Before launching the channel, the team at T-Series was involved in extensive research, taking help from experts in the educational field. KIDS HUT, thus has been designed to be a one stop place and a complete edutainment experience for toddlers and inquisitive young kids. The channel has two Mascots Tia and Tofu, which have been designed not only to be the face of the channel, but also something that the kids can relate to easily. Tia, a 13 year old teenage girl is not only smart, curious and intelligent, also stands for morality and ethics. The channel’s aim is to build up a role model for kids entering their teens.

While Tofu is someone that every toddler would be able to relate to. He is a fun-loving curious little boy who is just beginning to learn and looks up to his sister. KIDS HUT also has a Facebook page and a Twitter handle for more social connectivity and promotions. With children having access to many options, including phones and tablets where they can explore and learn, Kids Hut becomes one more avenue that they can explore.
