Divyendu Sharma’s next is ‘Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend’
After playing Anupam Kher's son in 'Ekkees Toppon Ki Salami', Divyendu Sharma will next be seen in 'Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend'.

After playing Anupam Kher’s son in ‘Ekkees Toppon Ki Salami’, Divyendu Sharma will next be seen in ‘Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend’.
Directed by debutant Japinder Kaur, the story revolves around a boy (Sharma’s character) preparing for IAS exams who meets a girl (Prachi Missra, a former Miss India finalist) working in a car firm. In order to know the girl better, he applies for a loan to purchase a car from there. The car gets stolen by the biggest mafia dons in Delhi.
“My character is the boy- next-door who parties, is slightly studious and genuinely intelligent,” says Sharma as he further explains how the film also depicts the IAS culture that is prevalent in Delhi.
DZG which has thriller and comic elements also stars Ira Dubey, Jackie Shroff and Pradhuman Singh of Tere Bin Laden fame, who has a negative role in DZG.
Sharma, who is known for his comic roles, will also be starring in Rajat Mukherjee’s ‘The Last Rave’ — a drama with rave parties as its backdrop. “The film is how the lives of four characters that are connected get affected through the course of the film.
The film depicts the personal stories of these characters,” explained Sharma about the film that also stars Rajkummar Rao, Sulagna Panigrahi and Tara D’Souza.
