Salman Khan, whose last release, Jai Ho’s music didn’t do to well, is happy with the response that Kick’s music has got. The actor, who has crooned in the film, says that it wasn’t easy for him to sing, and that, “he would sweat during the recordings.”
Hangover, the first of the three songs, that he has sung for the film, required him to work really hard. The actor, who is fond of old Hindi songs, had to seek help from his friends Wajid Khan and Himesh Reshammiya.
Interestingly, the song recording sessions with composers Meet Brothers, often had Wajid as a visitor during the recordings. “Since Wajid and I have worked together earlier, it’s easy to understand him. He would sing one line of the song, make me understand the tempo and I would just follow him,” revealed the actor, adding that had Wajid not been there it would have been difficult for him.
Khan doesn’t deny the fact that it’s technology that has made the songs better. “The entire credit goes to the technicians for making the songs sound so beautiful,” said Salman, who after this experience has realised that if he can sing, anybody can sing!
