The audience couldn’t ignore the gymnast that he is in Dhoom 3 when Siddharth Nigam played the role of younger Aamir Khan in the 2013 release. Now, the boy, who is a national level gymnast, is returning to the showbiz with Life OK’s next offering, Mahakumbh.
The 14-year-old will be seen essaying the character of Rudra for the first 12 episodes of the series after which it takes a leap and actor Gautam Rode would take forward the character. But even in the 12 episode that he would be a part of, Nigam has been given enough prominence. “It has been an amazing experience for me,” says the Allahabad boy, who has been stationed in Mumbai since the last few months to give his best shot in the show. “I have been taking inputs from my friends and teachers online to prepare for my school exams in March,” says Nigam, who has also enrolled himself in the Andheri Complex for his gymnastic practices. “I may have been missing on a few things but by being a part of the show, I have also learnt many new things. I didn’t know swimming at all, which I learnt during the show,” says Nigam, who, in the show, will have supernatural powers. He has also had a very good experience working with actors Seema Biswas and Robin Das, who also star in the show.
Interestingly, the show will be replacing the extremely popular Devon Ke Dev Mahadev from December 15 on the channel.
