Madhuri Dixit Nene is happy that her father Shankar R. Dixit was in his homeland in his last days. The actress, who moved to Denver post her marriage to Dr Shriram Nene, had taken her parents along with her as she did not want to leave them alone in India. Recently while talking about her father, she said, “My father lived with me in Denver and when I took the decision to move to India, my parents were the happiest. I am glad that he died a happy man, in his home and in his land.” Madhuri’s father was 91 when he passed away last year.

Mean streak

The bubbly Juhi Chawla is playing a negative character, for the first time in her career in Gulaab Gang. When asked if she has ever been mean to anyone, the actress had to really think a lot before she answered,
“I am sure we’ve all been mean to the people who love us the most. I have sometimes been mean to those closest to me.”
That’s the closest confession one could get from Juhi.

Spot on

Pooja Bhatt is a trendsetter of sorts when it comes to identifying beautiful locations. The actress turned film-maker, who’s known to follow her heart, has her sights set on Bali. She wants to do a recce of the place as she wants to base her upcoming films in this beautiful city. “You can say that I am a trendsetter when it comes to introducing new locations in films. I was the first to shoot in Sri Lanka for Paap and now I am sure Bali could also have others flocking to it, if I portray it in my films,” she chuckled.
