After completing the promotions of his upcoming film, Bewakoofiyaan, Ayushmann Khurrana will start work on the next schedule of YRF’s, Dum Laga Ke Haisha. “I’ll be going to Haridwar again for Dum Laga…, and hopefully by mid-April we shall wrap the film,” says the actor. Interestingly, while his character in this film hails from the heartland of Uttar Pradesh, the actor will be playing a Maharashtrian scientist in debutant director Vibhu Puri’s Bambai Fairytale.
“It’s difficult because both the characters are so drastically different. In Dum Laga… I have to speak in Bhojpuri at times. After I finish shooting for it, we will start the next schedule of Bambai Fairytale, in which I play a Maharashtrian. So, it’s a very different experience.”
Khurrana will also be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s 1911, alongside John Abraham. It’s based on Mohun Bagan Athletic Club. Mohun Bagan became the first native team to have won the IFA Sheild. Since Khurrana will be seen playing a football player in the film, he will begin training for it. “I had to lose weight for Dum Laga Ke...but now I’ll have to gain weight for 1911. We may begin the film in October,” says the Vicky Donor actor without divulging any more information.
