Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, who star in Tevar, took to Twitter to post their looks on their respective Twitter handles — (@arjunkapoor) and Sonakshi Sinha (@aslisona).
While Sinha is seen in a white bejeweled traditional get-up, Kapoor sports a rugged look.
Apart from posting photos of their characters in the action-comedy, they also announced the launch of an interactive website http://www.tevarbook.com on Instagram. One simply needs to click on the Facebook icon on the website which redirects you to your own FB account and a full screen with the actors uploads on your monitor. Through a recorded video, the actors start talking in ‘tevar’ as they bid adieu by “Ab humare Tevar dekhna,” and mention about the trailer launch.
The poster and trailer of the film was released last week. It shows Kapoor in an intriguing ‘face off’. He plays a kabaddi player and wears a very pre-occupied look. Tevar, slated to release on January 9, 2015, is produced by Sanjay Kapoor and Sunil Lulla and presented by Boney Kapoor.
“Both the characters are very realistic and speak the way people from small towns speak. Arjun is a kabaddi player who lives in Agra. He’s like this boy-next- door who sports track pants with a T-shirt or kurta, and often wears sneakers and a wristband. He is a carefree guy, but as a kabbadi player he had to have a unique style of walking so besides the sport he had to train for that too,” said Amit Sharma, the film’s director.
On the other hand Sinha is a modern, college-going girl from Mathura. She wears a traditional look in a few scenes like the dance sequence, but will also be seen in modern clothes.
