Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi’s Grazing Goat Pictures, have teamed up with Prabhu Dheva to make a masala entertainer, in which Kumar will be seen playing the lead role. The actor, who is currently working on Gabbar and will soon start working on director Abhishek Sharma’s Shaukeen, starts work on this project towards the end of this year and the film is scheduled to hit the screens by 2015.
Prabhu Dheva confirmed this news and mentioned that he is very excited to work with Kumar again. “This will be an action entertainer of the next level. We had built a good rapport during the making of Rowdy Rathore, and I am sure we will surprise the audience with this project,” the director stated. Although he is currently busy with Action Jackson, Dheva added that he will have a meeting with the Grazing Goats team to decide on the shooting date and only then he would decide which film takes off first. “Right now, my priority is to complete the work on Action Jackson. I’ll be in a position to reveal the starting date of our shoot only once we finalise the entire cast,” he added. When asked if he is considering Sonakshi Sinha, the director laughed and stated that it was too early to lock the female lead, as the hunt was still on.
Meanwhile, Yardi took to her twitter account and tweeted, “Very excited about Grazing Goat Pictures new film project. Keeping my fingers crossed.” This is the second time Kumar will be working with Dheva, their last venture being Rowdy… in 2012. The project, which is yet untitled, will be their biggest production venture till date. For the announcement, Kumar and Dheva also shot for a special photoshoot, which was done by photographer Dabboo Ratnani.
