Abhishek Pathak to make a horror film before starting Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2

While there are talks of the sequel to Pyaar Ka Punchnama, producer Abhishek Pathak has confirmed that he is to start a horror film soon

While there are talks of the sequel to Pyaar Ka Punchnama, producer Abhishek Pathak has confirmed that he is to start a horror film soon. Titled Alone, the shooting for the horror film will start in May around the backwaters in Alleppey in God’s own country, Kerala. While he is still working on finalising the cast and credits, he said the Hindi film is to be directed by Bhushan Patel, who seems to specialise in the genre of horror as his earlier films were 1920: Evil Returns and the Sunny Leone-starrer Ragini MMS 2.
Talking about Pyaar Ka Punchnama which did well when it released in 2011, Pathak confirmed that its sequel is in the offing and its script and the cast is being worked on presently. The film is likely to go on floors by July-August, he said adding that Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 will be directed by Luv Ranjan for Wide Frame Pictures.

 

Three film deal for Aditya Seal

Aditya Seal signs a three-film deal with Eros Production house. Seal’s upcoming release Purani Jeans is also produced by Eros. The actor had signed the deal before he started work on the film. The shooting for his second project will start after the release of his debut film. Seal is very confident that the films will bring him success as they are different and challenging roles.

 

Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai to release on June 13

Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai, a paranormal thriller whose cast includes Swara Bhaskar, television actor Bhanu Uday (known for his role in the television series Special Squad), Murli Sharma and Reema Debnath, is slated to release on June 13.
The story revolves Bhaskar and Uday, a happily married couple living in Mumbai, whose life changes when they are involved in a major road accident. The film is directed by Debaloy Dey, who had earlier directed the Salman Khan-Sridevi starrer Chandramukhi.
