After giving the country the superhero series, Krrish, director Rakesh Roshan has now zeroed in on an idea for which may be penned by writer-director Abbas Tyrewala. “I may write a movie for Filmkraft. Rakesh Roshan has a fantastic story idea and asked me if I’d like to develop it with him. We’re simply trying a few drafts to see where it goes,” said the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na director. When asked if he will be directing the film as well, he said, “If Rakesh ji asks me to direct anything, I would feel honoured. But for now, he’s only approached me to write the script. We’ve been talking about doing a movie together for a while, and this was a great opportunity. I have no idea what his subsequent plans for the film are.”
When asked about the genre of the film, he said, “I am not at liberty to comment on what the story is!” said Tyrewala.
When we contacted Rakesh Roshan, he denied that Tyrewala will be directing the film. “Abbas is not directing a movie for me,” he said.
Meanwhile, Tyrewala who has been busy with his film Mango starring Rannvijay Singh, Swara Bhaskar, Monali Thakur and Chandan Roy Sanyal, says that he is hopeful that the film will release, “This mango season!”
