After making a thriller Table No 21, director Aditya Dutt’s next was supposed to be a political thriller titled 10 Janpath. Starring Paresh Rawal and Amit Sadh, the film was supposed to go on the floors last year. In an earlier interview, Sadh had confirmed that he would begin the film after wrapping the shooting of Running
However the project kept getting delayed, and according to the latest reports confirmed by a source closely related with the project, the production house Eros International has backed out and will no longer produce the film. When we contacted Sadh for a confirmation, he put his humourous side to display by saying, “There’s a lot happening around Janpath these days. AAP party has showed the true meaning of Janpath. Jan Ka matlab ‘log’ and path ‘rasta‘. But on a serious note, I’m clueless about the film. Besides, I have my other commitments and films that are keeping my busy.” But as per reliable sources related with the project, Eros International is no more backing the film.

Vir Das and Soha Ali  Khan in October 31, based on the 1984 Sikh riots

Vir Das who has acted in films like Delhi Belly and  Go Goa Gone and will soon be seen in Shaadi Ke Side Effects, shall be seen as a Sardar in October 31, a film based on the 1984 Sikh riots. Directed by Shivaji Patil Lotan who won the National Award for his Marathi film Dhag last year, the film will take off in March. “I am growing my beard as I play a Sikh. It’s a very big topic and situation and I cannot talk much about the film now. Soha (Ali Khan) and I play a Sikh couple and more than the riots it will talk about our emotions,” said Das who adds that his pairing with Soha will add a new flavour to the film.
