The film crew of Thala Ajith’s upcoming film, which is tentatively called AK 57, recently returned from Europe after wrapping up the first schedule shoot. The second schedule was supposed to begin in Chennai and they had planned to shoot at EVP studios. However, now they have dropped the idea and the shooting will take place in Hyderabad.
According to the reports, the shooting for Rajinikanth’s Enthiran 2.0 has been going on in EVP studios. And Thala Ajith did not want to shoot at the same location that may cause privacy issues to both the film units. Hence, he asked the AK 57 filmmakers to move the shooting to Hyderabad, and they promptly obliged.
Recently, while shooting in Austria, the location pictures of the film were released online, giving a sneak peek at Ajith’s look in the spy thriller.
According to earlier reports, Ajith was very upset about photos from the shooting leaking online. In order to maintain the sanctity of the film, he has issued strict guidelines to the film’s crew.
He has directed all crew members to stop taking photographs and videos with their mobile phones while they are on the set. He has also stopped posing for photographs with fans and crew members in the middle of the shooting, said reports.
Ajith’s AK 57 is directed by Siruthai Siva, which also marks their third collaboration. Previously, the actor-director duo has delivered hit films like Veeram and Vedalam.
The film produced by Sathya Jyothi Films is expected to release in April next year.
