The ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan is ready for his next film ‘Katamarayudu,’ which he will begin shooting from September 20. The actor, meanwhile, is teaming with popular director Trivikram Srinivas for yet another movie.
From December, Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan will start shooting for the yet untitled movie. It is also said that it was Pawan’s idea to start with Trivikram’s movie after finishing two or three schedules of Dolly’s movie Katamarauadu, reported Telugu Cinema.
The new film with Trivikram is expected to be made on a huge budget. Suryadevara Radhakrishna will be bankrolling the film. Popular music director Devi Sri Prasad is also being considered for the movie.
Pawan-Trivikram team has earlier collaborated for Attarintiki Daredi and Jalsa, with both the movies turning out be hits for them.
Laying all rumours to rest, the actor said last week that he wouldn’t completely move into politics and abandon his career in cinema. “Acting is my livelihood. I will not stop. Yet, I will continue my political journey,” Pawan had said.
The report had also suggested that the actor will start shooting Katamarayadu, an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Veeram, from September 24. Pawan will join the crew four days after scheduled shoot. There were rumours that the movie has been dropped as the actor is preoccupied with his political career.
Under the direction of Dolly, the action entertainer Katamarayadu will feature Pawan Kalyan as a faction leader.
Actress Shruti Haasan has been roped in as the female lead in the movie. Anup Rubens is providing the music for the film.
