As the teaser of Okkadochadu comes out, it turns out that Vishal’s next flick is yet another mass action movie with nothing new in the closet.

The Tamil star is paired with Tamannaah Bhatia in this Tollywood outing and nothing in the teaser will grab your eyeballs. It shows a regular combination of a high-speed car chase and collision, a mid-air frame-freeze of fights, a lavish yacht, a couple of foreign locations and, of course, the iconic holding-the-gun silhouette. Well, it seems there should have been something more standing out of this mundane sequence lifted from all action packed movies.

The teaser concentrates entirely on the male lead with little idea about what Tamannaah’s role is. She was just limited to shaking a leg with Vishal for a couple of seconds.

Another interesting thing to observe is how Jagapati Babu aka Jaggu Bhai settled for these mafia, don and villainous roles. With that salt and pepper hair — more of salt — the actor seems to effortlessly pull through any baddie and rugged role he gets.

Just a couple of seconds before the teaser ends, we have Vadivelu with an eccentric double braided look. However, it is too early to judge the script with just this 56-second trailer.

Okkadochadu was initially slated to be released in October but was again rescheduled for November. The film is now done with all the shooting formalities and the audio tracks of the movie will be announced in the first week of the November too.

The movie also reportedly shot a big chase sequence with a budget of Rs 1.5 crore under the supervision of fight master Kanal Kannan.
