Nivin Pauly’s Tamil film Ritchie release date out

Nivin Pauly hasn't had a direct release since Neram, the young heartthrob shares a huge fan base here thanks to Alphonse Putharen's Premam. The handsome actor's recent "Njandukalide oru idavela" also received good feedback and response from critics and audiences alike.

Ritchie is a remake of the hit Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandante that was directed by Rakshit Shetty, who also played an important role. The Tamil film is being helmed by Gautham and has Nivin Pauly, Ashok Selvan, Shraddha Srinath, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Prakash Raj among others.

Ritchie, Nivin Pauly’s next Tamil movie, is all set to hit the big screens. The makers have announced that the film will be released on December 1 on Twitter. Ritchie is Nivin’s second film in Tamil after his debut Neram which a bilingual. A remake of the hit Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandante, Ritchie is helmed by debutante Gautham Ramachandran and has a solid star cast comprising Natarajan Subramaniam, Ashok Selvan, Shraddha Srinath, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Prakash Raj among others. The original was directed by actor Rakshit Shetty and the role played an important part in establishing him as an actor and a director as well. Ulidavaru Kandante (as seen by the rest) is a story of a journalist trying to piece the incidents that led to a murder in a village. The film was a runaway hit in Kannada.

Meanwhile, his next film titled Kayamkulam Kochunni, which will be directed by Roshan Andrews, will also start rolling after he wraps up his portions for Geetu Mohandas’ project Moothon. The film is reportedly based on the life of Kerala’s legendary thief, Kayamkulam Kochunni. The shooting will take place in Kayamkulam and Sri Lanka. The actor will also undergo training in Kerala’s traditional martial art, Kalaripayattu.
