Majnu: ‘Lover boy’ Nani set for another romcom, watch trailer

The audio launch of the movie, which took place in N Convention Centre in Hyderabad, is incidentally Nani’s movie Bhale Bhale Bhale Magadivoy one-year anniversary.

Under the music direction of National Award-winner Gopi Sunder, the film packs six audio tracks. “I feel I am Majnu myself as I found my Lila. There are a lot of melodies in this movie and I really enjoyed it. I am doing my best to do the background score for the movie now,” said Gopi Sundar.

“The movie is not about the character being a Majnu. It’s about the peaks of love and its portrayal,” said Ramajogayya Sastry, who is the lyricist of the climax song. Sastry wrote lyrics for songs in hits including Janatha Garage, Baahubali and Eega.

Speaking at the audio launch Nani said: “Everyone has a Majnu in them. It’s not about the sad or happy climax. It’s a term we use to define someone who falls in love and faces problems. And this Majnu is not someone who will bore you but someone who will entertain you with his great sense of humor.”

“Gopi Sundar gave a great album in Bhale Bhale Bhale Magadivoy and now he is giving me another hit. He made me sing a song which only we know and I only know how horrible it is,” added Nani chuckling.
