Director Prashanth Neel of Ugramm fame has helmed KGF, which is being touted as Kannada film industry’s costliest film ever. The film also boasts of an all-star cast, including Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Ananth Nag, John Kokken and Achyuth Rao among others. KGF is bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Homabale Films production. Ravi Basrur has composed the music for the movie.
Going by the teaser that was released earlier, KGF seems to revolve around the protagonist who leads the war of an oppressed class against its oppressors. It is about Rocky, a badass, and his battle exploits in the 70s and early 80s.
