New mom Parineeti Chopra shares first video after welcoming baby boy, gives fans a peek into her ‘jugaadu’ makeup routine

Parineeti Chopra revealed that the most common request she receives is for “makeup looks,” before cheekily confessing, “I don’t know a lot of makeup looks.”

Given her new role as a mom, Parineeti shared that she would demonstrate how to do “jugaadu makeup”—a quick, simple routine she follows whenever she has to step out for a meeting or catch up with someone, especially when her glam team is unavailable.

Settling down in front of the camera, she quipped, “Okay, now I have sat down because I am an old lady who needs rest.” Laughing, she added, “Actually, the real problem is I can’t stand and do my makeup.”

Parineeti then began her “least complicated, jugaadu, no-fuss, timepass makeup,” starting with a basic moisturiser, followed by a drop of foundation. For colour, she used a single lipstick shade as lip tint, blush, and eyeshadow. She finished the look with eye pencil and mascara.

“I use hard brushes and never blend with my hands—I find it very unhygienic,” she explained, adding, “And when you keep the colour of your lips, cheeks, and eyes the same, you look fresh. People often tell me I am glowing.”

Although Parineeti Chopra didn’t directly address her new-mom challenges, this video marks her first appearance since welcoming her baby boy with Raghav Chadha.

The couple announced the birth of their son on October 19 through a joint Instagram post that read: “He’s finally here! Our baby boy! And we literally can’t remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything. With gratitude, Parineeti and Raghav.”
