A man accused of breaking into Miley Cyrus’ Toluca Lake, Los Angeles home 10 days before Christmas and stealing items belonging to the singer and her brother has been charged with felony burglary and grand theft.
Rusty Edward Sellner, 22, who was also charged with receiving stolen property, entered not guilty pleas during a hearing on Wednesday, reported TMZ online. If found guilty, Sellner, who has previous convictions for burglary and evading arrest, faces over seven years behind bars.
Last month’s burglary was the third at Miley’s California pad in just over a year – the home was targeted by thieves in November, 2013, and in June (2014) two thieves broke into the pop star’s home and drove off in her Maserati sports car, which was later recovered. The burglars were arrested and convicted.
