Diljit Dosanjh admits facing racism in BTS clip from Australia concert: ‘People called me a cab driver’

Singer Diljit Dosanjh is currently touring the world with his latest album, AURA. Before his recent concert in Sydney, Diljit shot some behind-the-scenes footage to show his fans exactly what goes on behind his live shows. He talked about certain logistical troubles, his experience of playing in foreign countries and how he feels that his fans and their happiness after the show are his own responsibility.
In the video, Diljit could be seen walking around the massive CommBank stadium in Sydney, and check out his stage. He then checked the sound levels for the show, and Diljit shared that he was facing some issues with the background track. “Exactly one year ago, I played a song in New Delhi, and even then I faced this same issue on the first day. My voice and the backing track aren’t in sync, but I hope that it gets fixed. People come out here, all dressed up and excited, and it is my responsibility to ensure they have fun,” said Diljit.
