Malayalam actor Nazriya Nazim will return to the big screen with a multi-starrer, which will be directed by Anjali Menon. Nazriya has been away from the spotlight following her marriage to actor Fahadh Faasil.
The yet-to-be-titled flick will also have Parvathy and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Atul Kulkarni, Roshan Mathew, Siddharth Menon and Mala Parvathy play key roles in the film, which is bankrolled M Renjith under the banner Rejaputhra Visual Media in association with Little Films India.
Musicians M Jayachandran and Raghu Dixit will jointly score music for the upcoming film. The film is expected to go on floors from Wednesday.
Nazriya and Parvathy earlier worked together in Bangalore Days, which was also helmed by Anjali Menon. It was on the sets of this blockbuster film that Nazriya and Fahadh crossed paths. Both of them immediately hit it off and tied the knot same year in Thiruvananthapuram. Fun fact is that it is Nazriya who proposed Fahadh.
Fahadh had said earlier that Nazriya will return to acting in films when she finds the right script. Looks like she has finally found a perfect director in Anjali to stage her comeback in the Malayalam film industry.
Anjali’s new directorial outing will be shot in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and the UAE and it is expected to hit the screens in summer 2018.
Parvathy and Prithviraj are also working together in an upcoming film called My Story, which was in the news recently after its director Roshni Dinaker accused Prithviraj of not making himself available for the shooting.
Parvathy will also soon maker her Bollywood debut with Qarib Qarib Singlle, which also stars Irrfan Khan in the lead role.
