For a franchise which prides itself on fight and fury, the trailer of Transformers: The last Knight trailer begins slow. Make it deceptively slow. As we watch knights and Nazis, humans and machines fighting it out in a dance for survival, the last few seconds of the trailer are crucial. Because wait for it, that is when Optimus Prime kills Bumblebee.
Suddenly the slow speed of the trailer makes sense. Because as Optimus prime goes in for the kill, we hear Mark Wahlberg shouting no. We hear the same scream inside our head. And then one remembers the first few moments of the trailer when Anthony Hopkins’ voiceover said, “All great battles demand sacrifice.” It seems Bumblebee will fall so that Earth can survive.

Meanwhile, during the promotional campaign for the film, Bay brought back quotes from his concerns over ‘Marvel Studios’ and the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe.’ The 51-year-old director, who has not dipped his toe in the superhero genre yet, revealed why he has not tried his hand at one yet, reports collider.com.
More from the world of Entertainment:
“I don’t ever wanna take someone like a third of something or second of something. I gotta do my own thing,” he said. “…you talk to Ridley Scott, one our favorite things to do is to create the world. Steven Spielberg, create the world. That is what it’s about. If I were to do something I would have to redo it my way,” he added.
