Actor Tom Felton has been roped in to star in the yet untitled indie war hero drama focusing on the true story of Iraq War hero Megan Leavey.
The 28-year-old actor, who is best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, will be joining Kate Mara for the project, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Gabriela Cowperthwaite will be directing the drama, that revolves around Leavey, a Marine in a K9 bomb sniffing unit in Iraq, and the bond with she shares with her dog.
Mara, 32, will be playing the lead role, while Felton will play a veteran dog handler.
The film will be shot in Spain, South Carolina and New York.
