The Global Goals campaign of the United Nations has released a video featuring Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, London-based R&B trio, M.O and artists from Nigeria, South Africa, the UK, USA and Canada with the remake of Spice Girls’song, Wannabe. With a lot of strength, beam and bold letters, the video is focused on ending violence against women, equality in education, abolition of child marriage and wage difference.
Using the hashtag #WhatIReallyReallyWant, the remake of the famous Spice Girls song Wannabe strives for gender equality. One of the most heartwarming features in the video appears in the first few minutes itself when a few burqa-clad girls are seen jumping with joy at the idea of being in a classroom.
Victoria Beckham, a former Spice Girls member, is quite impressed with the song being used for women empowerment of a whole new generation.
