Actor Robert Pattinson has reportedly split from singer FKA Twigs. The couple began dating in September 2014 and reportedly got engaged just seven months later. According to a source, Pattinson has called an end to their romance as he “grew tired” by the fact they had been “drifting apart”, reports thesun.co.uk.
“In recent months they have really started to drift apart and have been spending less and less time together,” the source said. “Rob is tired of it, has called off their engagement and told friends they have split. With so much history between them, though, there are still strong feelings there.
“It’s a difficult situation but things have become tough between them for some time and they both know they were no longer working as a couple,” the source added. FKA Twigs is a stage name and the singer’s real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett. She debuted with 2014 studio album called LP1. It received a lot of critical success. It was also nominated for Grammys in 2015. She specialises in electronic music, trip-hop, R&B, and avant-garde genres.
Robert Pattinson gained global fame after he played the role of a vampire Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight’. But before even venturing into ‘Twilight’, he had also essayed the role of Cedric Diggory in the fourth film of the ‘Harry Potter’ film series, known as Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire.
