Priyanka Chopra is a star and we have no doubts about it. Her fans in India already saw her as a global face, but now even the world is taking note. And there are more proofs to it. As per the latest IMDb’s most popular celeb list, Priyanka has found an impressive ranking and seems to have jumped way ahead of even the biggest Hollywood names. She has just taken the world by storm by acquiring a spot at 55 on the much coveted ranking and has managed to beat some very popular Hollywood biggies like Jennifer Aniston, Emma Watson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and Scarlett Johansson, among others.
After conquering Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra shot to global fame after she signed her maiden American TV series Quantico. The crime thriller went on to gather much appreciation bringing our desi girl a lot of fame and recognition from all corners. It soon landed her Seth Gordon’s directorial Baywatch, alongside Dwayne Johnson, where she will be playing the main antagonist Victoria Leeds, while making her Hollywood debut.
The IMDb’s most popular celeb list has Jennifer Aniston standing at number 56, Emma Watson at 63, Leonardo DiCaprio at 77, while Johnny Depp is at number 81. Sadly, PeeCee’s main competitor Deepika Padukone who is also ready with her Hollywood debut opposite Vin Diesel in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, could not make it to the list. The top rank is held by Sofia Boutella.
The feat has become all the more big for Priyanka as she has jumped from number 277 from last year, to 55 in the new list. And we just cannot hold our excitement and wishes for her achievement.
