Karate Kid Legends trailer unites Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio in action-packed legacy-quel

Sony Pictures has just dropped a new trailer for the much-awaited film Karate Kids: Legends, starring Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio and Ben Wang. The trailer introduces the film’s protagonist, Li Wong (Ben Wang), who, in classic Karate Kid fashion, moves to a new city with his mother in order to begin afresh. The reason for the move seems to be connected with the death of Wong’s elder brother, but it hasn’t been specified in the trailer.
Jackie Chan reprises his role as Mr Han from the 2010 Karate Kid reboot, that featured Jaden Smith. Joining the Kung Fu master will be the Miyagi-Do’s Daniel LaRusso, played by Ralph Macchio, the original Karate Kid. In the trailer, Chan’s character visits Machhio’s character and pleads for him to teach Li his skills.
