Jessica Biel and her husband Justin Timberlake are working on their first film “The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea,” and the actress says she was the “boss” on set.
The 34-year-old actress is not only starring in the Bill Purple-directed drama, but is also a producer and Timberlake has served as music supervisor for the soundtrack, reported ET online.
“He (Timberlake) is much better left to his own devices. I mean, I like to say that I was his boss, but I wasn’t really acting as his boss. So we had a good working relationship,” Biel said.
The “Total Recall” actress said as a producer she had to take care of many things and the job was very different from that of an actress.
“(There are) so many more things to take care of, so many more hats to wear. Problems you have to fix. Normally, (as an actor) you just come to set and don’t have to worry about any of the problems. I don’t have to worry about if the money is there. I don’t have to worry about if the cast is happy,” she said.
“The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea,” also starring Maisie Williams and Jason Sudeikis, will hit theaters later this year.
