We have some good news for the desi fans of upcoming superhero flick Aquaman. The movie, which is being helmed by James Wan, will release in US on December 21. But, in India, the audience will witness it on the big screens a week earlier. The film is scheduled to hit Indian screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English on December 14.
The theatrical rights for Telugu version has been bagged by production house NVR Cinemas. On Saturday, the makers announced the title for the Telugu version of Aquaman will be Samudra Puthrudu.
While Jason Momoa, who is best known for portraying Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones series, is essaying the titular role of Aquaman, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman will be seen in other crucial roles.
The character of Aquaman was last seen in the multi-starrer Justice League. The film is releasing in 2D, 3D and Imax 3D formats.
