Actress Julia Roberts has revealed that she is a huge Beatles fan as she met the singers at the recently concluded Grammy Awards.
The 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress, who was a surprise host at the annual music awards in Los Angeles, took to the stage to welcome the two Beatles legends, reported Daily Express.
“It was 50 years ago today, almost, that four loveable lads from Liverpool changed history for ever when they played The Ed Sullivan Show,” she said.
She also revealed that next month the Recording Academy will honour John, Paul, George and Ringo with a two-hour TV tribute in the US to mark February 1964 when their performance on the show launched Beatle-mania.
Roberts then introduced Paul, 71, who performed his song ‘Queenie Eye; with his friend Ringo.
