Actor Hugh Jackman brings the struggles of one Ethiopian coffee farmer to the world in a trailer for the upcoming documentary “Dukale’s Dream”.
The 46-year-old “X-Men” actor travels to Africa on behalf of World Vision Australia to see first-hand how coffee is farmed and explore how fair-trade practices can change lives, reported Digital Spy.
Jackman meets one farmer named Dukale, who struggles every day to provide for his family in extreme poverty.
Resolved to encourage nations to adopt free-trade coffee sales, Jackman goes on a worldwide quest to bring Dukale’s story to the public.
The documentary also includes first-hand testimony from the actor’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness, who offered support for her husband’s humanitarian efforts.
“Dukale’s Dream” will be released in select cinemas on June 5, before debuting on iTunes on July 14.
