Ryan Reynolds says he was overjoyed when his wife Blake Lively gave birth to their daughter whom he adoringly calls “Shrimpie”.

Actor Ryan Reynolds says he was overjoyed when his wife Blake Lively gave birth to their daughter whom he adoringly calls “Shrimpie”.

The 39-year-old “Deadpool” star, who was youngest in his family with three elder brothers, said becoming a father to his little girl was a dream come true for him, reported People magazine.

“Having a daughter was a dream come true for me. I would have made a terrible king. I never admitted it out loud, to myself or my wife, but I really wanted a little girl. It’s the best,” Reynolds said.

The actor says he has been transformed into a completely doting father.
