If it’s teaser left you insanely excited, wait till you watch its trailer. The sequel of Marvel’s hit film Guardians of the Galaxy is here, and it is only taking the brand one notch higher. The makers of the second instalment titled Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, launched its full-length trailer and the first thing that hit all Marvel maniacs is Baby Groot. He is back in the tiny and cutest avatar.
The trailer is a perfect sneak-peek into the chronicles of the original misfits from the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Star-Lord aka Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel). The second trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a visible feast for the eyes. Unlike Marvel’s other adventures, this new trailer is visibly more vibrant and full of some extraordinary VFX.

While this new trailer doesn’t give away anything about the plot, we all get a hint that the franchise is only set to get bigger and better, with much more action. And for all those who felt sad seeing Groot sacrificing himself to save his groupmates at the end of the first part, the glimpse into Baby Groot’s character in the second one is the best takeaway. In one hilarious scene when Rocket Raccoon asks Baby Groot to not press a particular button because it will set off the bomb, in his characteristic cute avatar keeps on saying, “I am Groot” leaving his partner Rocket terrified.
Besides some hilarious scenes, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer also shows a certain dose of romance between Star-Lord and Gamora. Whether or not we’ll see some love brewing between the two is yet to be seen, but Star-Lord’s adulation for Gamora is surely leaving him red-faced in the trailer. Watch the trailer to know more.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is based on Marvel comics superhero team by the same name. The movie is written and directed by James Gunn. Set in an intergalactic world, Guardians of the Galaxy is loaded with adventures.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will release on May 5, 2017.
