The 82nd Annual Golden Globes Live Ceremony: The 82nd Golden Globes is all set to be held on January 5 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Often referred to as “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” the award gala will celebrate the best of both film and television.
The Golden Globes nominees were announced on December 9, 2024. This year, the nominations list included Payal Kapadia’s film All We Imagine As Light in the category Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language. Payal is also nominated in the Best Director category.
The 82nd Golden Globes will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Indians can stream the awards gala from 5:30 am on January 6 on Lionsgate Play.
On January 2, the Golden Globes announced the star-studded lineup of presenters for the highly-anticipated award show. Presenters will take the stage alongside Emmy, Grammy, and Golden Globe nominated comedian-actress-host Nikki Glaser. She will make history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes on her own.
The presenters include: Andrew Garfield, Anthony Mackie, Anthony Ramos, Anya Taylor-Joy, Ariana DeBose, Aubrey Plaza, Auliʻi Cravalho, Awkwafina, Brandi Carlile, Catherine O’Hara, Colin Farrell, Colman Domingo, Demi Moore, Dwayne Johnson, Édgar Ramírez, Elton John, Gal Gadot, Glenn Close, Jeff Goldblum, Jennifer Coolidge, Kaley Cuoco, Kate Hudson, Kathy Bates, Ke Huy Quan, Kerry Washington, Margaret Qualley, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Keaton, Michelle Yeoh, Miles Teller, Mindy Kaling, Morris Chestnut, Nate Bargatze, Nicolas Cage, Rachel Brosnahan, Rob McElhenney, Salma Hayek Pinault, Sarah Paulson, Seth Rogen, Sharon Stone, Vin Diesel, Viola Davis, and Zoë Kravitz.
Emilia Perez leads the Golden Globe nominations with 10 nods, followed by The Brutalist and Conclave, with 12 and 6 nods, each. Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or-winning Anora was nominated for five awards. READ MORE HERE.
