All We Imagine As LightAll We Imagine As Light earns Critics Choice Awards 2025 nomination.

It is awards season, and the nominees for the Critics Choice Awards 2025, one of the biggest and most prestigious awards of the year, was revealed on Thursday. The 30th edition of the Critics Choice Awards will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on January 12. The event will be hosted by Chelsea Handler, who will be taking on this responsibility for the third year in a row.

It was a moment of immense pride for Indians as Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light has added one more prestigious nomination to its kitty. It has been a week of celebration for the AWIAL team as the film has been nominated in the Best Non-English Feature and Best Director category at the Golden Globes 2025. The film recently bagged awards at Gotham Awards, New York Film Critics Circle, Los Angeles Film Critics Circle, San Diego Film Critics Circle, and Chicago Film Critics Association. Interestingly, All We Imagine As Light, headlined by Kani Kusruti and Divya Prabha, isn’t India’s official entry to the Academy Awards 2025. The film that is being sent from India is Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies.

Meanwhile, Wicked continues its stellar run at the box-office and the awards circuit, as it lead the nominations at the Critics Choice Awards 2025 with 11 nods along with Ralph Fiennes’ compelling drama, Conclave. The other big nominees at the CCA 2025 are Emilia Perez and Dune: Part Two, which are nominated across ten categories each. Another interesting aspect of the nominations is how films across genres have been selected in the final pool, and it wouldn’t be an easy task to pick one from this eclectic group of nominees.
