Actor Ben Stiller says he is open to starring in a sequel of ‘Dodgeball’.
The 48-year-old actor, who played villainous dodgeball team leader White Goodman in the 2004 hit comedy,is open to reprising his role in a follow-up film alongside Vince Vaughn,
reported Contactmusic.
“There is a script. I haven’t read it,but I know it exists. I had so much fun on that first movie so I could see myself doing a sequel at some point,” Stiller said.
The comedy, which also starred Stiller’s wife Christine Taylor, was a big hit, grossing more than USD 160 million on a modest USD 20 million budget.
20th Century Fox has hired Clay Tarver to pen a script for the proposed movie.
The sequel will reportedly focus on Vaughn’s Peter La Fleur and Stiller’s Goodman putting their differences aside to tackle a more menacing threat to their respective businesses.
