Kunaal Roy Kapur of Delhi Belly and Nautanki Saala fame will be seen playing a comedy part,Prabhu Deva style in Action Jackson. In the film,Roy is teaming up with Ajay Devgn. “It’s a complete contrast to what I have done before. Working with Prabhu Deva has been a learning experience,” said Kapur,who is currently shooting for the film.

Abhay Deol has signed a social and political satire that will be directed by Ashwani Dhir. He is cast opposite Shruti Haasan and this will be their first film together. “The film tackles serious issues in a light vein. In fact,it is a hard-hitting film,but will also have fun elements. It will be shot in the Chambal valley,” said a source,confirming the development.
Ranbir’s cameo in Bhootnath 2
Ranbir Kapoor has agreed to do a special number in Bhoothnath 2. The actor will share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan,who plays a friendly ghost in the sequel to the hit flick Bhoothnath. When contacted,Bhushan Kumar,who is producing the film said,“I would not like to comment on this.”
Sonam in Arbaaz’s next
Sonam Kapoor who is presently shooting for her home production,the remake of Khubsoorat in Rajasthan,has confirmed that she is doing Arbaaz Khan’s film Dolly Ki Doli. “Yeah,doing it,” Kapoor messaged back. The film will be produced under Khan’s banner,Arbaaz Khan Productions and directed by debutant Abhishek Dogra,who earlier assisted filmmaker R Balki in Paa. Kapoor plays the title role of Dolly,a spunky north Indian girl in the film,which is expected to go on floors in January.

AR Rahman’s Bollywood film
will roll out early next year. Touted as a “young,sensual movie based on love,art and self discovery”,the film has been conceived and written by the maestro. The film is a co-production between Rahman’s YM Movies and Eros International. Currently,Rahman is busy fulfilling his music commitments for Imtiaz Ali’s Highway and Shekhar Kapur’s Paani.
Vipul’s take on Youth
After making action films such as Force and Commando,producer Vipul Shah’s next,Roopnagar Ke Cheeteh,will be a youth centric film. Pooja Chopra who played a fun loving Punjabi girl in Commando,has been signed to play the lead in the film. The film goes on floors on January 3.
Parineeti Chopra in Fan?
Yash Raj Films just announced their latest collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan for Maneesh Sharma’s Fan. The film is written by Habib Faisal. Though the leading lady has not been announced,speculation is rife that Maneesh’s muse and close friend,Parineeti Chopra,has been approached for the film.
