Actress Sandra Bullock’s charitable efforts are being hounoured by a school in New Orleans.

The ‘Miss Congeniality’ star had donated thousands of dollars for the reconstruction of the school after it was ravaged by hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The 44-year-old actress will be inducted into the Warren Easton High School hall of fame later this month,Contactmusic reported.

“I feel honoured to have been a very small part in the rebuilding of a city that I have loved an it’s only right that I give back to ensure it has a future,some of which graduate from Warren Easton,” Bullock said.
