He was a fearful villain till the other decade, but on the afternoon of Holi,Sadashiv Amrapurkar was trying to save his hide from neighbours after he chastised them for wasting water.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar drew the ire of residents of his neighbouring housing society in Versova once they spotted him and a cameraman filming a ‘rain dance’,a popular part of Holi celebrations in Mumbai.

According to reports,Sadashiv Amrapurkar tried to stop them from wasting water, particularly when the water-starved state is going through its worst drought ever.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar later said a group of five to six ‘drunk’ men surrounded him and beat him up.
