Prachi Desai wants to ‘rock on’ with Shahid and Hrithik

‘Rock On’ girl Prachi Desai has actors Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan on her wish-list as co-stars.

The 21-year-old Desai,who made a successful shift from TV to silver screen with her role as the demure wife of Farhan Akhtar in the 2008 hit,is now bracing up for her new release ‘Life Partner’ opposite Tushar Kapoor.

The comedy,which is slated to release next week,also stars Fardeen and Genelia D’Suza.

On being asked about her dream co-stars,Desai said.”

“Who does not want to work with the Khans. I have literally grown up watching them. But I think Shahid and Hrithik are the two with whom I dream working with.”

Desai became a household name with the character of ‘Bani’ in Ekta Kapoor’s serial ‘Kasam Se’ at the age of 17 and she believes that the chemistry that she shared with Ram Kapoor (Jay Walia) in her debut show remains the best.

“I have till now worked with Tushar (in Life Partner),Farhaan Akhtar (in Rock On) and Ram kapoor.

“But working with Ram was altogether a different experience. Though he is double my age I have shared the best of chemistry with him. It was a great learning experience,” said the actress adding that she has no plans to return to the small screen.

Talking about her role in ‘Life Partner’ which will hit the theatres on August 14,Desai says the film is a romantic comedy about life before and after marriage. It deals with the intricacies of both an arrange and love marriage system.

She may be playing the role of a wife in both her films but Desai has no plans to settle down anytime soon.

“Personally,no marriage for at least next ten years.I want to stabalise my acting career first,” said Desai.
