No,we are not talking about one of his many roles from his upcoming movie ventures.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed that he worked as a watchman during his struggling days on an upcoming episode of Yeh Hai Meri Kahaani.
The actor goes on to talk of his struggles in the past that led him to become one of the most recognisable faces in Bollywood.
He recalls how he took up the job of a chief chemist at a petro chemical factory in Baroda after his graduation.
It was in this city of Gujarat that Nawazuddin Siddiqui got attracted to the art of theatre.
I remember going to watch plays with my colleagues.
When I saw the play,I thought this platform was perfect for me to take the first step as an actor.
I felt that once on stage,toh waha kisi ki recommendation ki zaroorat nahi hoti, he recalls.
Soon he realised that theatre alone was not enough as he went without food for days.
He was compelled to take a job as a watchman at night and toil hard during the day for plays.
Eventually,he got into National School of Drama and things started falling in place for him.
