Heidi has filed for legal separation from husband Spencer Pratt.
Reality TV star Heidi Montag has filed for legal separation from husband Spencer Pratt,following split reports.
The 24-year-old celeb was spotted at a Santa Monica,California courthouse on Tuesday and her wedding ring was missing from her left hand,reported Us magazine.
Montag did not file for divorce. A legal separation means that her earnings will become hers alone from the date of separation.
She married Pratt,26,in April 2009. Reports of their splitting up were confirmed last week,sparking speculations that the ‘The Hills’ stars are pulling a publicity stunt.
“This breakup is the latest part of Spencer’s master plan,” said an insider,explaining that the couple is in panic mode now that the TV series is winding down. Another source added that the duo is “laughing over” the breakup headlines “and having a blast.”
