Pop diva Madonna’s latest album ‘MDNA’ is the fastest selling international album in the India this year.
The album,in the first week of its release,has achieved a Gold status in India and is at number one on the national Planet M retail charts.
‘Girl Gone Wild’,a track from ‘MDNA’,released on March 26 worldwide and has debuted on top in the iTunes charts in 40 countries. The record has also witnessed the biggest one day pre sale on iTunes by any artist in history.
It’s the 8th time Madonna has returned to the top of the Billboard’s Pop Charts with ‘MDNA’ selling 359,000 albums according to Neilsen Soundscan and is the biggest selling first week debut this year.

‘MDNA’ is Madonna’s fifth studio album in a row and is available exclusively on Universal Music.
