Lindsay Lohan is set to put her troubled past behind by taking up spiritual chanting,says her friend Courtney Love.

Lindsay Lohan is set to put her troubled past behind by taking up spiritual chanting,says her friend Courtney Love.

Love got to know Lohan,25,by giving her advice at the height of her DUI problems,for which she served numerous stretches in jail and rehab over the last few years,reported Daily Star online.

The 47-year-old rocker,who has practised Nichiren Buddhism since 1990 and has her own share of troubles as well,has said Lohan is a member of an all-female group which meets at her house to practise spiritual chanting.

“She is coming to my house to chant. There is like seven women coming to chant on Friday. It is a women’s group. She is coming to chant,which is good for her,” Love said.

“You can tell when I am not doing it,I get in trouble and then (when) I am doing it,I don’t get in trouble. It is really,really good for me. So,that is my religion,” she added.
