Julianne Moore feels lucky to get good roles

“I feel tremendously grateful. I feel so lucky all the time to have had the opportunities that I’ve had,and that’s what I had hoped would happen when I started acting. You don’t want to fall into that ditch of not working,so I’m just trying to keep looking ahead and hope that the jobs keep coming.” Moore said.

Despite her appearances in comedy films including ‘The Kids are All Right’ and ‘The Big Lebowski’,the flame-haired star is not surprised if cinema-goers do not think of her as funny.

“Hopefully I’m funny in ‘Crazy,Stupid,Love’. I think I was funny in ‘The Kids are All Right’ and ‘The Big Lebowski’ and ‘Cookies Fortune’. Obviously the bulk of my 55 movies have leaned toward dramatic, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like comedy. I always say the older you get,the less appealing tragedy becomes,” she said.
