Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu celebrate their 47th wedding anniversary.
Dilip Kumar tied the knot with co-actor Saira Banu,who was 22 years younger than him,in 1966.
Dilip Kumar,who has recovered from a heart attack,posted a series of tweets about the day.

Thanking fans and friends for their wishes,Dilip Kumar said he plans to spend the special day with his beautiful wife Saira.
He said,Saira and I will spend the day,in quiet acknowledgement of what we mean to each other,now more than ever Inshallah.
Dilip Kumar thanked his fans saying,Praying in gratitude for all that Allah has blessed us with his bounty and benevolence. A million thank you for your prayers.
The veteran actor has given memorable performances in films like ‘Mughal-e-Azam’,’Madhumati’,’Devdas’ and ‘Ganga Jamuna’,’Kranti’,’Karma’.
Dilip Kumar was crowned as the ‘Tragedy King’ of Bollywood for playing a doomed lover in films like ‘Andaz’,’Baabul’,’Mela’,’Deedar’,’Jogan’ and others. His last film was ‘Qila’ in 1998.
The actor was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994.
