Chupke Chupke is the latest classic to be remade

Director Umesh Shukla will begin work on the movie next year.

Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra’s cult classic Chupke Chupke is the latest classic to be remade in Bollywood.

According to reports,the new age Chupke Chupke will be directed by OMG! Oh My God Umesh Shukla.

Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1975 movie had Amitabh Bachchan,Dharmendra,Sharmila Tagore,Jaya Bhaduri along with Om Prakash and Asrani.

Director Umesh Shukla will begin work on the movie next year since nothing has been finalised about the cast.

There were reports that Sharman Joshi might play the role essayed by Dhamrendra and Manish Paul will step into Big B’s shoes. But nothing has been confirmed yet.

In the recent past classics like Don,Chashme Baddoor and Himmatvala were remade. Now Bollywood is gearing up for the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s Zanjeer and Sonam Kapoor will also begin shooting for Khoobsurat remake.
