British pop star Cheryl Cole is caught in a bitter plagiarism battle over her hit single ‘Fight For This Love’ which is allegedly a copy.
Bosses at music labels Universal,Sony and Emi,have joined hands to fight accusations from music publishers Wardlaw Banks and Peermusic that Cole’s 2009 chart smash borrowed chunks from an unreleased demo called ‘I Want You Back’,reported Contactmusic.
‘I Want….’ was composed in 2001 by Kevin Hughes,Simon Chapman and Wayne Wilkins, who also has a writing credit on ‘Fight For This Love’.
