Cameron lends a hand to Indian filmmakers

The 'Avatar' director has offered Indian filmmakers a chance to use his 3D technology.

Ace filmmaker James Cameron has offered the Indian moviemakers a chance to use the special 3D technology which made his dream project ‘Avatar’ a worldwide hit.

Cameron’s epic blockbuster which smashed all box-office records when it was released last year,garnered more than USD 2.7 billion.

The 56-year-old director on his part has vowed to help upcoming Indian filmmakers to use the 3D equipment to direct a blockbuster,said Hollywood Reporter.

“If there is an Indian director who’d like to make a film – it could be about the Ramayana or the Mahabharata – we can offer the technology we’ve already developed,the 3D system and the digital 3D Fusion Camera,” he said during a speech at the Innovation and Knowledge Conference in Lavasa,India.
