Boman Irani can play Pranab on silver screen: Hirani

Bollywood actor Boman Irani is best suited to play the role of Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on silver screen,renowned film director Raj Kumar Hirani said.

“Boman Irani” quipped Hirani when asked who would play Mukherjee if a film is made on the life of Mukherjee. Hirani,director of Hindi blockbuster “3 Idiots”,made these comments at India Business Leaders award function organised by the television channel CNBC TV 18.

Boman Irani,a renowned character artist,has received several awards for his role of a dean of an engineering college in 3 Idiots.

Mukherjee,who turned 75 today,is a senior Congress leader and the main trouble shooter for the party as well as the government.
